It all appears to be working for me right now, though it wouldn't load anything last night, and yet I think that was my internet acting up.Hopefully it clears up for you... servers are most annoying.
I use Internet Explorer and both today and a couple days ago, I haven't been able to access the archives. I haven't tried every single one, but the few I've tried to access haven't worked for me...but everything else seems to be fine...
I wonder if it's the new updated IE (I think it's IE7 now) that is the problem. I wouldn't bet my life on it, but the YLCF site stopped working for me on IE around the same time we downloaded the new (yucky) version of IE.
I did some reasearch this morning and found that in the case of IE7 (which I also dislike - mightily) it is a problem with the way IE7 renders CSS (cascading style sheets). The content is there but not being displayed.
These links give some insight and show other blogs are having the same problems: http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/IETechCol/cols/dnexpie/ie7_css_compat.asp http://www.digitalramble.com/2006/10/30/82/ http://talkback.zdnet.com/5208-10532-0.html?forumID=1&threadID=26430&messageID=496550&start=12
Unforunately CSS is one of those things that can be extremely complicated.
For the time-being users with IE7 have this option: Microsoft has a download which "tricks" IE7 into thinking it's IE6. ZDnet discusses this and gives a link to Microsoft for the download and another site with some other details at: http://blogs.zdnet.com/microsoft/?p=34
The link for Microsoft's download is: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?familyid=9517DB9C-3C0D-47FE-BD04-FAD82A9AAC9F&displaylang=en
They didn't show... so... within some opening and closing tags in the 12/21 post there is are: "o:p" eliminate those tags in their entirety and I think it will work in IE7.
that's the problem--ANY other browser should work fine with no problems. For some reason the NEW IE 7 will not work because of a problem with Blogger (Which hopefully they will soon fix!). Try Mozilla Firefox.
Natalie, Hi. I have tried to find your e - mail address at the TH address, but it doesn't seem to be in our address book. Fauna was going through our e - mails and was a bit confused at what address you wanted us to send your next issue, having found two different address corrections. If you wouldn't mind e - mailing us again with your current address, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! ~ Ruth
Natalie, I have been reading at YLCF for over a year and have been sooo blessed by it! Thank you! I have wanted to ask you to friend me for a long time, but I find it a strange request to make. I would like to read the things that you write and get to know you better. I'll friend you and you can get a glimpse of my life. I don't update often and can filter you off my posts if you'd rather not have more to read. And if you'd rather not friend me, I completely understand. I pray that the Lord will be blessing you whatever the case may be.
PS I noticed your icon, congratulations! What an exciting time for you! :-) Praying God blesses your future abundantly!
I used to read the ylcf blog frequently, but the last few months (probably more like 4 or 5)I can't read it. It is really weird. I see the blog for a split second and then it vanishes. ???
What internet browser are you using? IE 7 does not work right now. Check out our new note on the main page www.ylcf.org and let me know if you cannot view it.
